Who does not know Kawah Putih? In English, it is translated: White Crater. It is 44 km from Bandung, precisely in village Sugih Mukti. Kawah Putih is one of the craters in the world with highest sulfur acidity. The uniqueness of Kawah Putih is its white surroundings and its low temperature. In certain seasons, the temperature is around 0 – 2 degrees Celcius. The tourist area opens at 7 am and closes at 5 pm. Facilities around Kawah Putih include information center, park lot, prayer area, food stalls, toilets, gift shop, jogging track, stage performance and sulfur cave.
